It’s taken me awhile to get my business back to where it was before COVID, so I appreciate you bearing with me.
Now that I’m not stressing about clients and cash, I’ve actually had the time and energy to create a new course. This one is called:
What’s the New WooCommerce Course About?
Well, I had a lot of time to think about business over the last year-and-a-half. How to start one. How to optimize your online presence so you can focus on doing business instead of running it. And what the hell to do when something like COVID puts it all in danger.
This is actually something I used to write about a lot. It’s called disaster recovery and business continuity. For some business owners, it’s as simple as buying an insurance plan. For those of us small business owners, freelancers, and creators who don’t really have that option (or can’t afford it), we have to use our resilience and creativity to find other ways to make money until things stabilize.
What I saw over the course of the pandemic was a flood of new business owners and freelancers into the market. However, a lot of them just seemed lost and desperate. It’s tough, I get it. Back in 2013, I was working full-time at a design agency, so I had that to keep me going while I built my writing business on the side. If you lost your job due to COVID, had your hours reduced, or simply didn’t want to serve the man anymore, you may not have had a job or savings to keep you safe while starting your business.
I don’t want anyone to ever have to be in that position again. Pandemic or not.
So, that’s what this course (along with the other courses I’ve created over the years) is aimed at doing. You can check out the intro for free here:
So, What Do You Think?
Has this gotten you thinking about all the ways in which you’ve wanted to make money, but weren’t sure how to do it on your own? Awesome!
It only costs $10 to enroll in the course and I’ll take you through everything you need to know, from the initial WooCommerce setup to making sure you get paid!
