Freelance Writing Services

Professional CopywriterFor many business owners, writing is not your strong suit. Then again, maybe it is, but you just don’t have time to do it. That’s why you’re here, after all. You’re short on time and need to outsource all this content marketing work to someone else. Amirite or amirite?

That’s where I come into the picture.

If you have no idea who I am or why I’m qualified to help, take a quick moment to read this now.

There. Are we good? Great. Let’s get down to brass tacks.

My name is Suzanne Scacca and I’m a freelance copywriter. While I do write content on behalf of myself, in all honesty, I prefer to write content on behalf of others (so they can take all the credit).

Before I was a professional copywriter, I was a content manager at a boutique marketing agency. Needless to say, I understand how much time and effort goes into creating high-quality content and, more importantly, how essential a role that content plays in establishing yourself as a thought leader. So that’s what I aim to help business owners do.

Now, content marketing is going to look a little differently for everyone, so I can’t tell you exactly how much it will cost to create four 1,000-word articles for you each month. But what I can do is outline each of my services and my areas of expertise, and then you can reach out if you think we may be a good fit. Sound fair?

(Over 2,000 words.)

Client compiles a list of all the page titles, descriptions, and notes that need to be created for the website. Suzanne creates unique and personalized copy based on those details.

Suzanne researches and reviews business’s previous content (if any) as well as other industry-specific blogs to identify popular and well-received topics for client’s niche. A topic or list of topics is then pitched to client for consideration.

Suzanne conducts research into long-tail keywords that have the greatest impact within client’s industry or specific business. Keywords are then used within the development of client’s content.

For any blog post or web page requiring search optimization, Suzanne will utilize the list of keywords previously compiled as well as content creation best practices to optimize accordingly.

For clients that need assistance with images for their content, Suzanne can take screenshots, download free stock imagery, or purchase royalty-free images based on the client’s needs.

Suzanne has worked with a variety of content management systems (and specializes in WordPress content creation), and can assist with the uploading, optimization, and publication of content within them.

Interviews are sometimes needed with the client or with the client’s contacts in order to obtain personalized information for the purposes of content creation. (This is most common with web page work and case studies.)

R.I.P. My Desk Jockey Career – 2006-2016

From 2006 to 2016, I played the role of the diligent and dedicated desk jockey for a lot of companies. And by "a lot of companies", I mean I pretty much set the standard for how job-hopping millennials should approach their careers. (You're welcome, millennials.) The...

e-Commerce Images & Dick Pics: Is There a Difference?

I think it's safe to say that most of my attention these days goes towards consuming visual content (as opposed to the written word). That's why I become so easily annoying by things like erroneous featured images showing up in my news feed or why I spend the bulk of...

Why Tiger Woods Should Never Show Up in Your Featured Images

Before I get out of bed each morning, I open my Google news app and take a look at what's happening around the world, the nation, and my own little local bubble here in Delaware. Needless to say, I was shocked as I looked through the local news feed and found Tiger...

Finding Inspiration in the Downright Strange and Beautiful

I recently rented a movie called Equals, thinking it could be hit or miss, but still worth trying out. I've really enjoyed Nicholas Hoult's  movies these last few years (Kill Your Friends, Mad Max, Warm Bodies, to name a few), so I figured this wouldn't be your...
